Telling in nature - basic course, Stockholm
Åkeshovs gårdsväg, Bromma
This is a basic course in waterboarding in nature. You will learn basic grips and techniques for processing wood. Tools we use are, for example, knife, axe and band knife. When the workshop is over, you should feel confident with the tools and be able to craft simple kitchen utensils or the like. We will also go over how to sharpen your knife and talk a little about materials. To get a lovely sense of context to the material we work with, the course will be held outdoors in a weather-protected place. The course includes coffee. If you have your own tools that you want to try or learn more about, you can of course bring these. However, this is not a requirement as we provide all participants with the necessary tools and materials.
This is what you learn
- Basic technology and safety when handling knives, axes and tape knives
- How to keep their tools sharp
- Knowledge of the material we work with
What is included
The course includes simple coffee and all the necessary materials to get started with your tanning
