Tilling in nature - decorate in wood, Stockholm
SE
Learn grips and techniques with the tools when processing and decorating wood. In addition to the basic tools, you will learn the use of, among other things, a carving knife. The goal is to learn new techniques and tools to be able to craft more advanced crafts and decorate them with, for example, carvings. Prerequisites: You do not need to have taken any previous course in sharpening, but it is good if you feel confident and know how to handle a knife safely. To get a lovely sense of context to the material we work with, the course will be held outdoors in a weather-protected place. The course includes a simple coffee. If you have your own tools that you want to try or learn more about, you can of course bring these, but this is not a requirement as we handle all participants with the necessary tools and materials.
This is what you will learn
- You will learn how to handle new tools and techniques such as a carve knife
- How, using various techniques, you can create and decorate in wood with carvings and colrosing
- In-depth knowledge of the materials we work with and how we can benefit from this
What is included
